HonorHealth Volunteer Services Advisory Council recently granted $50,000 to Sonoran Crossing Medical Center, HonorHealth’s sixth facility in the Valley. This recent gift brings the total proceeds granted to $100,000! Advisory Council members vote on projects and amounts to be funded from the proceeds of gift shop and thrift store sales. We are pleased to announce Sonoran Crossing was selected with monies benefitting a variety of needs at the new center.

This new facility, which opened for patients in early October, was built to provide maximum care and comfort for North Valley patients, including 24-hour emergency care for patients of all ages, women’s services, a Level II Neonatal ICU, state-of-the-art surgical facilities, and other critical services. Located at I-17 and Dove Valley Road it also offers patients and families inspiring views of the surrounding mountains and adjacent desert preserve as well as a calming healing garden.
