Our clinical trials have facilitated FDA approval of cardiovascular medicines, including a new form of anticoagulant that doesn’t require frequent blood testing for patients at risk of developing blood clots. HonorHealth Research Institute clinical trials also have focused on exciting, minimally invasive procedures for conditions traditionally requiring open-heart surgery. These include using catheter-based techniques rather than open-heart surgery to replace diseased aortic valves and treat leaking mitral heart valves.
