In 2019, the Trust supported HonorHealth to establish the Virginia G. Piper Distinguished Chair in Innovative Cancer Research. This endowed chair honors Daniel D. Von Hoff, MD, FACP, FASCO, FAACR, and Chief Scientific Officer of the HonorHealth Research Institute. Internationally recognized in cancer research, Dr. Von Hoff is a compassionate physician and tireless researcher whose life’s work has improved, extended and saved the lives of countless patients.
