Providing clothing to emergency room patients in a time of need
Derek’s Closet was created to help patients in need, to receive clothes and other necessities after being treated in the Emergency Department.
Derek was a patient care technician (PCT) who passed away in 2021. His coworkers created a charitable cause in his memory.
“Derek was the kind of person that would give the shirt off his back to help another. The emergency department team wanted to dedicate an ongoing tribute to Derek that displayed his passion of helping others.”
