Global music icon Bret Michaels is well-known for selling out arenas and stadiums around the world, but the lifelong Type 1 diabetic is also no stranger to hospitals, where his long-standing respect for healthcare workers has solidified over the course of his adult life. Michaels is continuing in his true form by creating a fundraising opportunity out of a simple friendly wager with HonorHealth Emergency Room RN, Chris Stewart. The bet resulted in a unique autographed shirt signed by both Stewart and Michaels, which will be sold via online auction at michaelsnation.com, with all proceeds going to HonorHealth Foundation.

Amidst a pandemic that ravaged budgets at healthcare foundations across the country, HonorHealth Foundation exceeded its 2020 fundraising goals and granted a record-breaking $26.37 million in donor contributions to HonorHealth.
Robert “Bob” Bové, a local business leader and philanthropist, has gifted HonorHealth Foundation with $21.5 million to advance care through the Bob Bové Neuroscience Institute at HonorHealth, opening May 2021, and drive innovation at the HonorHealth Research Institute.

Thanks in large part to generous donors, HonorHealth Foundation has purchase 32 germ-zapping robots used to disinfect more than 40 areas across our six hospitals—from intensive care, bone marrow transplant and medical/surgical units to operating rooms and procedure areas.
