HonorHealth employees are truly extraordinary. Through personal donations to Honored to Help, the annual employee giving campaign, HonorHealth employees champion the HonorHealth mission and make a lasting impact.

Accessed through the employee self-service portal, HonorHealth staff members can conveniently manage one-time and recurring donations through automatic payroll deduction. See step-by-step instructions, below.

As a nonprofit, community hospital, every dollar makes a difference. 2021 Spotlight Funds:

Employee Crisis Assistance Endowment
HonorHealth employees have selflessly created this fund, which serves as a safety net for employees facing financial hardship due to a recent event or condition beyond their control. The fund covers expenses related to basic needs such as housing costs, utilities, vehicle payments or insurance.

Greatest Needs Fund
One of the most powerful and immediate ways to help patients and impact the quality of healthcare. Gifts to this fund directly support HonorHealth’s top priorities and empower HonorHealth to respond to issues and opportunities whatever they are and whenever they arise.

Patient Assistance Endowment
Emergency social service and post-discharge funds for patients to cover education, prescriptions and more, system wide.

Bob Bové Neuroscience Institute
Clinical and patient support for neurological conditions, including stroke, brain trauma, brain tumors, neuropathy, back and spine , Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and ALS.
Cancer Center Programs
Compassionate, personalized cancer care with precision diagnostics, a wide choice of treatment options and access to cutting-edge research, all brought to our patients from expert, experienced specialists.
Deer Valley Medical Center General Fund
Supports areas of greatest need as determined by CEO.
Desert Mission
Operational support for all Desert Mission programs. (AZ Tax Credit Eligible)
Desert Mission Adult Day Health Care
A place where seniors can spend the day in a setting that is friendly, dignified and stimulating while caregivers enjoy a brief respite. Many participants have memory and other cognitive issues. (AZ Tax Credit Eligible)
Desert Mission Food Bank
Provides nutritious food as well as the necessary tools and resources to help clients achieve food security. (AZ Tax Credit Eligible)
Desert Mission Lincoln Learning Center
Early childhood education operations, projects and programs. (AZ Tax Credit Eligible)
Forensic Nurse Examiners Program
Serves sexual assault, domestic violence, physical assault or abuse victims. Provides care, education, and head-to-toe medical-forensic examinations, sample and evidence collection and court testimony if needed, system wide.
Cardiovascular Center of Excellence
A multidisciplinary team offers complete services, ranging from screening and diagnosis of potentially life-threatening conditions to leading-edge treatments and rehabilitation.
HonorHealth Research Institute
Where world-class care and groundbreaking research join forces to benefit patients who often face serious health conditions. This unique institute oversees all medical research at HonorHealth.
John C. Lincoln Medical Center General Fund
Supports areas of greatest need as determined by CEO.
K-9 Security Program
Provides a security presence in and around hospital facilities and creates a calming effect for patients and staff, system wide.
Military Partnership Training
Military medical personnel and civilian first responders receive realistic training that includes practical learning with advanced human patient simulators with life-like functions.
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
Level III NICU, highest level of certification, provides excellent care for critically ill or premature newborns and their parents.
Osborn Medical Center General Fund
Supports areas of greatest need as determined by CEO.
Shea Medical Center General Fund
Supports areas of greatest need as determined by CEO.
Sonoran Crossing Medical Center General
Supports areas of greatest need as determined by CEO.
Thompson Peak Medical Center General Fund
Supports areas of greatest need as determined by CEO.
Women Physician Leadership Council
A group dedicated to increasing gender equality for women physicians affiliated with HonorHealth, by removing barriers and providing greater access to professional development and leadership opportunities.
 
Community Funds:*
Mesa United Way
Supports nonprofit organizations in the Mesa community.
Valley of the Sun United Way
Supports nonprofit organizations within Maricopa County.
* - Please note: Contributions to outside charities can be made through the Employee Giving Campaign by choosing Mesa United Way or Valley of the Sun United Way when making your donation. Contact the Foundation at EmployeesGive@HonorHealth.com to designate a specific charity. Any checks for these should be made out to “United Way.”

 

HonorHealth employee self-service portal

To manage your one-time donation or recurring giving, access the employee giving campaign through the HonorHealth employee self-service portal. Login is required, and once in the portal, navigate to Myself>>Giving, and select the programs or services you want to support (additional instructions are below). 

How to enroll in a fund and manage your donations...

Log into HonorHealth staff self-service portal.

Navigate to Myself >> Giving

Select the fund for your donation, and then select an amount or select "Other" for a custom amount, and click the Submit button.

To stop or change your existing donation, choose the program and click "Edit," and then enter a new amount, or click "Stop Donation," and click the "Submit" button.

Please note: through the self-service portal, donations to the same fund cannot be stopped and restarted during a calendar year. To restart a donation, please contact HR Shared Services at 480-587-5111, or through the Human Resources portal.

Navigate to Myself >> Giving
