Honor in Action is the theme 
of this year’s report, and 
it perfectly captures the 
spirit of what happens every 
day across our community. Through the generosity of donors 
and dedication of healthcare professionals, philanthropy is 
transformed into expanded programs, innovative technology, 
and compassionate care for patients and families throughout our 
health system. 
When my wife Susan and I moved to Scottsdale from the 
Chicago area more than 10 years ago, we were inspired by how 
deeply this community believes in supporting one another. That 
spirit of generosity continues to define the work of HonorHealth 
Foundation. Having experienced the exceptional care provided 
by HonorHealth firsthand, I have seen how meaningful it is when 
a community rallies behind its hospitals and the people who 
deliver care every day. 
Today, I am proud to serve alongside an extraordinary Board 
of Trustees whose leadership truly puts Honor in Action. 
Each member brings unique expertise and perspective, 
and together they help advance the Foundation’s mission in 
powerful ways. Their commitment — along with the dedication 
of our donors — continues to drive meaningful progress for 
healthcare in our region. 
To our donors and community partners, thank you for making 
this work possible. Your generosity strengthens the mission 
of HonorHealth Foundation and ensures that exceptional care 
continues to grow for generations to come. You are the reason 
Honor in Action is more than a theme — it is a promise to our
