Through this virtual event, they connect with their suppliers and subcontractors, raising more than $25,000 last year to ease the burden of what can be an especially worrisome time for those who struggle to put food on the table.The Desert Mission Morning of Gold fundraising breakfast was held in October with a special focus on the Desert Mission Food Bank. Special guests Park Howell and Chris Bianco shared their stories that reinforced the theme Food is Medicine. The event continued a strong tradition of supporting Desert Missions Lincoln Learning Center, Adult Day Healthcare Center, Living Well program and the Food Bank.
